Since its founding, BHIG has been deeply engaged in the UK-China and European markets, with branches in Beijing, Hainan, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Leveraging over a decade of practice, BHIG has built extensive government and business networks and cross-border communication expertise. We have established long-term partnerships with Chinese SOEs, leading private companies, and key UK institutions. BHIG Milestones

2014 – BHIG Founded
  • Curated the “China Pavilion” at 100% Design London for the first time, opening European professional exhibition channels for Chinese design brands.
  • Operated “China House” at the Sochi Winter Olympics, establishing the integrated Olympic venue service model.
  • Hosted the 1st UK-China Business Leaders Summit in London (2 June), with 300+ leaders in attendance, becoming the most high-profile side event before Premier Li Keqiang’s UK visit.
2015
  • BHIG’s Beijing office officially relocated to Zhongguancun, strengthening its presence in China’s innovation hub and laying the foundation for UK-China cooperation in technology and services.
  • HMR Jewellery Global Art Exhibition at London Fashion Week – the “Cross-Boundary” theme showcased the fusion of ancient jade and haute couture.
2016
  • 2nd UK-China Business Leaders Summit (London & Windsor Castle), focusing on “Two-Way Investment + Industrial Synergy”.
  • Overseas promotion events “Kunming Week / Nanjing Week”, creating a model for integrated cultural export.
  • On 15 June, donated 50 new computers via Xinjiang Charity Federation to the “National Unity School” in Yecheng County, Kashgar, supporting education equity and ethnic unity.
  • In November, supported the “8th UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue”, advancing cooperation in finance, trade, and investment.
  • Participated in the successful opening ceremony of Bank of Communications London Branch, marking deeper Chinese banking presence in the UK market.
2017
  • BHIG Academy hosted the “Future Technology & Financial Innovation” executive training programme (2nd edition), taking financial executives abroad to explore global innovation models.
  • 20 July – “Experience China: Western China Cultural Tour” UK stop, with 600+ attendees.
  • 21–26 August – “Modern Monk Painter Da Han” London Special Exhibition.
  • 20 September – “Screen · Discovering the Beauty of Oriental Living” China Pavilion returned to London.
  • 6 October – BHIG Academy organised “Bank of Guangdong Nanyue Executive Training” at the University of Cambridge.
  • 7 December – “Heritage of Craftsmanship · A Century of Embroidery Dreams” fashion show in London, facilitating multiple government–design partnerships.
  • Launch of “Pitch@Palace China” Leadership competition, announced in Beijing (25 April).
2018
  • BHIG appointed as the sole operator of “China House” at PyeongChang Winter Olympics, receiving 1,000+ international guests in 19 days.
  • 16 April – Scottish Chamber of Commerce delegation visited Beijing, planning overseas accelerator programmes.
  • 25 April – “Guizhou Global Promotion Event” in London, signing multiple agreements on trade, culture, and tourism cooperation.
  • 9 May – “Shanghai-UK Summit” in London, 160+ leaders explored “Golden Era 2.0”.
  • 26 October – “Grassland Embroidery Dreams · Women’s Craftsmanship” fashion show, with foreign ambassadors supporting intangible heritage.
  • 2–3 November – Zhongguancun Forum (Beijing) UK-China Innovation Session, with scientists and investors from 13 countries discussing AI and IP.
  • 29 November – Heyuan (Guangdong) Trade & Investment Promotion in London, signing strategic cooperation framework agreements.
  • 13–16 December – Zhang Huafeng’s “Poetic Landscapes” exhibition at the Louvre, with works collected permanently by French Art Association.
2019
  • 6 January – VOLVO × Eve Group VIP Dinner in London, launching UK study abroad value-added services.
  • Gordonstoun Summer School (Scotland), offering a 28-day elite education experience.
  • 22 October – The 15th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention at ExCeL London, attracting 2,500+ Chinese Leaders and 500+ political and business leaders from nearly 60 countries.
2020–2021 Global Pandemic
  • During COVID-19, BHIG actively supported the Chinese Embassy in the UK, donating PPE to local Chinese communities.
  • Adapted to UK public health policies, shifting to remote work and virtual conferences to ensure staff safety and uninterrupted client service.
  • Launched multiple online forums, seminars, and virtual training programmes, keeping UK-China business and education communication ongoing during the pandemic.
2022
  • 10 March – CBBC China President visited BHIG Beijing HQ for in-depth discussions on UK-China trade cooperation, strengthening BHIG’s role as a bridge in bilateral relations.
2023
  • 20 April – UKCBA 10th Anniversary Celebration at The Dorchester, London, including inauguration of the UK-China Business Leaders Club, Youth Chamber, and Manchester Branch. BHIG acted as a core organiser.
  • 12 September – University of Reading Vice-Chancellor Robert visited BHIG Beijing HQ to discuss UK-China higher education cooperation.
  • 25 May – UKCBA Chairman & BHIG Chairman Zhang Jinlong attended the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum Opening Ceremony, showcasing BHIG’s global cooperation role.
  • 28 November – Chairman Zhang Jinlong attended the “Global Chinese Leaders Investment Conference (Henan)”, fostering international trade and investment cooperation.
2024
  • 28 May – 3rd UK-China Business Leaders Summit in London, attended by 450+ Leaders, with 5 parallel forums exploring new cooperation opportunities.
  • Facilitated partnership between Henley Business School (University of Reading) and Xiamen University School of Accounting for a Master’s preparatory programme, marking a new model of Sino-UK joint education.
  • Organised “Hong Kong Fortune 500 Corporate Training Camp”, a 3-day, 2-night executive programme providing certificates and industry insights for career advancement.
2025
  • BHIG Education Centre accredited to deliver the International Foundation Diploma (IFD), opening direct pathways for Chinese students to world universities.
  • 18 July – “Invest in Shanghai · Shared Future” Lingang Promotion in London, highlighting opportunities in advanced manufacturing and digital economy.
  • 11 March – Launch of “China Development Report 2024” and “Global Development Report 2024” (English editions) in London, with global think-tank dialogue on climate change and digitalisation.
  • BHIG Family Office officially established in Guangzhou, integrating platforms (UK-China Business Leaders Club, BHIG Academy, BHIG Family Office) to serve Leaders with wealth management, education, and succession services.
